Land girls: our activities
We've designed your experience at Home Farm to be one that resets you physically, mentally and creatively. The following activities and nourishment are all included in the price of your stay.
All we really want is for you to leave us feeling inspired, energised, and confident that you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
Day 1:
From 11am onwards:
Arrival, settle in and tour of Home Farm.
Lunch:
A continental spread laid out in the barn.
Afternoon:
Planting, weeding and building the market garden.
Dinner:
Communal dining: a home cooked, hearty meal in the barn. Stories around the campfire.
Day 2:
Breakfast:
Full English breakfast: a vegetarian option is available.
Morning:
Practical skills: changing the wheels on a tractor and a fuse in a plug, handling a drill and hanging a picture.
Lunch:
Communal lunch cooked by our organic expert over the fire.
Afternoon:
Free time: exploring the estate, making the most of the quiet and creative zones. Attending a pottery class, den building or wood chopping.
Dinner:
Cooking round the campfire: nutrition tips and hands-on cooking practice.
Day 3:
Breakfast:
Energiser breakfast: to set us up for the day ahead.
Morning:
Final farm jobs and free time.
Lunch:
Hampers: Home made tartlets, cakes, local cheese and biscuits to be eaten together under the oak tree.
Afternoon:
Fill the lungs and departure by 3pm.
